2023 January - The Unplug from Digital, Plugging into Nature + Source

As an energy worker, I am extremely sensitive to the energetic frequencies given off by humans and technology. The type of work I do- Reiki and other energy healing- does not ‘sap/deplete’ my energy. However, working with clients, doing all that needs to be done to operate my business, all the human things we have to do and are subjected to, does. I tell my students taking care of your own physical, mental, emotional body is very important to keeping your spiritual body healthy, and vice versa. Eating well, having time to mediate, exercise, walk in nature, turn off the phone, tv, etc- more importantly: spending time alone-just being. We all know this, yet it can be a challenge which is where mindfulness comes in- being mindful to carve out time every day just for you! Unplug. I read an article recently about the toxicity of the electromagnetic fields bombarding us and how doctors are now seeing a huge increase in electro sensitivity which is causing fatigue, headaches, inability to sleep well etc. It validates for me what I am getting from my clients when I work in their field and makes me very glad, I have a process they can use to help clear their fields. If you have been exposed to a lot of AI and technology (EMF emissions) your energy field feels heavy and highly ‘static’. If this process is used daily, it reduces the impact of EMF damage in their bodies and energetic fields. (auras). (If you are interested in getting this to use, please email me by clicking here. To further limit exposure, keep your devices away from or out of your bedroom!) So, when I was invited to go way up north for 6 days to a cabin without any cell service or internet, no running water, no electricity. I did not even hesitate- a big yes! The journey to the cabin was like something out of a reality survival show! The 30 km road where they would normally drive to then snowmobile the last 5 km across the lake to the cabin, was not plowed! The snow was deep, and it was still snowing! Being December 27, the days were a little longer up north, but not by much! The light quickly disappeared by 5:30 pm. A 45-minute trip (35 km) turned into a 5-hour trek. We were never in danger, just a lot of work getting the machines, sleds and people through the deep snow. Once there, we spent at least 4-5 hours every day outside in nature: fishing, breaking trails, cleaning up trails, working outside to do maintenance around the camp, exploring on snowshoes for the perfect trout fishpond. I spent time talking to the trees and feeling the beautiful energy of the woods surrounding us. What struck me deeply was the silence. Deep silence. We could not hear a sound. We were totally alone. We saw a moose on the road on the way in, tracks of bunnies, moose, deer, wolf some whiskey jacks coming into to eat the pike scraps left in the snow. A partridge surprized one of our trail rides and on the last day we saw a martin scurrying into the snow as we left in the dark. There was one other cabin on this lake which was unoccupied and quite far away. As far as I knew the closest human was over 50 km away. Inside we heard only the sounds of our own laughter and chat along with the crackling of the wood stove….well, sometimes the rustling of mice in the log roof! It is an incredible thing to have such deep silence and rare for such extended periods. Even better was not having to be “on”- no emails, text, computer work, no tv, no videos. We did listen to music on cd’s and cassette tapes! We also played cards- but the best was the telling of stories. Real conversations! I continued to do my daily practices and it was no surprize connecting with the energies and my ‘peeps’ (Guides/Source) was easy and powerful. The Reiki energy was incredible- frequency clear! The best was I had a reprieve from the onslaught I continually experience in my day-to-day life. It was hard to leave; I felt that ‘pang’ leaving can create.

How does one talk to trees? Stand among the trees, close your eyes and inwardly feel your energy go out to the trees. Then open your eyes and quietly look at the trees. Go to one you feel drawn to. Place a hand or both hands on the trunk of the tree and close your eyes. Feel the energy from the tree rushing up through your palms to your arms. Send love back to the tree. Ask the tree to give you messages. Accept whatever comes into your mind. Have a conversation with the tree. Ask the tree if it has a name or simply name it. Give thanks for their energy and love.

Tune into a higher frequency by turning off…

Be fabulous,
