Virtual Reiki Sessions- Clients + Practitioners How-To
People are always surprised when I tell them they can experience the benefits and deep healing of Reiki during distance sessions. First, people have trouble believing the energy can be felt and second, wonder if an in-person session is of higher quality than a virtual session. Virtual session- what exactly is that? What I mean by a virtual session is via a video platform. My platform of choice is Zoom. You can also do the session via phone or simply by setting up a time and date. For the last option, you would lie comfortably at the designated time in an area of your home where you can be undisturbed for the length of the session. You can play some zen like, spa like, soothing, non-vocal music while you are relaxing. You would then be contacted after the session to talk about what you experienced and what I experienced.
It is important to understand energy knows no time or place, it can be transformed into form, but it can’t be destroyed, it just is. Our bodies are made up of energy- right down to the cellular level, quantum level. Reiki seeks out the negative energy or blocks (Byoki) and transmutes that to positive life force energy (Genki). Of course, being in person is always my preferred choice. The wonderful thing is I now have clients around the world. I love that no matter where you are, no matter what technology you have or have not, you can receive healing. As a practitioner, I can be anywhere and still be able to connect in with my clients.

Not only can you receive the Reiki energy at a distance, but you can also send it to someone as well. Sessions can be quick or the usual length of 45-60 minutes.
